Pasar Tani

was initiated by the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority of Malaysia in 1985. The largest now in 2012 is the one in Shah Alam. Rows and rows of booths selling all kinds of stuff, clothes, toys, electrical products, second hand goods like a flea market and of course, fresh products of agriculture. Not forgetting, rows and rows of booths catering to fresh cooked food too. Walking up and down between the booths and the nose itching to free smells, food!

See the many colours... I am attracted to this, makes life cheerful!

and of course... with all these, how can I pass??

it is therapy okay! Try it yourself..
my next write up will be on a stall that amazed me so much at the market...

Al-'Isra' 4 to 7

It was brought to my attention just a while ago, about issues of the Palestinians/Israelies which is stated in the Quran and how it will all end. Subhanallah...

I don't understand the language and naturally need translations to know what is said. I checked it out from the many books I have and of course the world wide web... goosebumps ya. All revealing itself to me just as the 10th of Muharram comes knocking. What else would I need to give myself to Allah?

Now I am given clues of what is to happen to the non-believers for me to see with my own, how true it shall be. When Allah promises, HE delivers.

Surah Al-'isra' (17) 4 to 7 says

4. And we decreed for the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief on the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished!)
5. When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare: they entered the inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled.
6. Then did we Grant you victory over them: We gave you increase in resources and sons, and made you the more numerous in manpower.
7. If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did it) against yourselves. So when the second of the warnings came to pass, (We permitted your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and to enter your Temple as they had entered it before, and to visit with destruction all that fell into their power.

Toilets

Did you know?? Well... I DID NOT! to the fact that it has been declared that 19th November is the World Toilet Day. Frankly, I wanted to laugh initially... but well... I feel it is for a good cause. It is true, sanitation is important, and some countries just are not bothered to offer a good public toilet.

I need to read up and listen more on this. Since it was first declared in 2001 by the World Toilet Organization, they have done much within their capability. According to them, only 19 countries are involved so far.. let's help spread the information then.

I got those images from the world wide web. As I go places, I will snap photos of public toilets and update here!

In Syaa Allah

transliterate it and it spells, In Syaa Allah. Well, I am not one who is familiar with arabic words. Learning how to read it, just. Struggling but trying hard no matter what. Living in a land where more and more are arabic language literate, and throwing words to me who sees it as simply ~ jargon! However, in syaa Allah, is a word used as often as possible. Like... almost everything ends with it. All this while, I'd spell it as InsyaAllah, thinking... they must be the same. To be highlighted, to know what the latter means, surprised me!
Ma Syaa Allah!!! (heee.. another I am corrected during my search for the truth)
God forgive me...
Arabic word "Insha" means to create... duh!! I wonder what about abbreviations used in text messages.

So, I am sharing this with you. May the knowledge be of use.

and I've check it out with several people, checked with scholars of Islamic Studies, including an Egyption friend, who definitely use arabic language as their native language! They cannot go wrong eh...

It is also stated in the verse...
Except [when adding], "If Allah wills". And remember your Lord when you forget [it] and say, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to something nearer to rectitude than this" - surah al-kahf (18:24).

We are all connected...

fable: author unknown.. a story I read earlier today. I was touched by what we can all learn from it... here goes.

A rat looked through a crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife opening a package.
"What food it might contain?", thought the hungry rat. He was aghast to discover that it was a rat trap! Retreating into the barnyard, the rat proclaimed the warning; "There's a rat trap in the house, a rat trap in the house!"

The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Excuse me Mr. Rat, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it."

The rat turned to the goat and repeated, "There's a rat trap in the house, a rat trap in the house!" "I am so very sorry Mr. Rat, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. be assured that you are in my prayers." says the goat sympathetically..

The rat told the cow the same to which she replied, "Like.. Wow!, Mr.Rat, a rat trap? I am in grave danger? Duh!"
So, the rat returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's rat trap alone. That very night, a sound was heard throughout the house.. PRAPPP!!.. like the sound of a rat trap catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see that it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught and the snake bit her! She was rushed to the hospital, treated, however returned home with fever. Now, everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the barnyard for the soup's main ingredient!

His wife's illness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her round the clock. To feed them, the farmer slaughtered the goat. The farmer's wife did not get well and died. So many came to her funeral and the farmer ordered for the cow to be slaughtered to provide food for all of his guests.

So, the next time you hear that someone is facing a problem and think that it does not concern you, just remember how a rat trap in the house gotten the whole barnyard affected.

Sometimes, we fail to realize, 'everything happens for a reason'. And just maybe, when things like these comes knocking at our door, it was just Allah, asking us to 'lend a hand'; giving assistance, be it words of encouragements or positive deeds till the next person takes over.  After all, life is such; inter-relating, a chain reaction.

18th Nov 2012 @5:20pm GMT+8... I found the original writer! Known as Sheikh Umarr Kamarah, he wrote the story and called it The Trap. enjoy!!

All the fighting...

Must there be? arguments, fighting, killings... for the power? so sad...

When the angels take away from their bodies, the souls of those who have wronged themselves, the angels will ask,"How did you live?"

And the souls reply,"We live on earth in weakness and oppression." to what the angels will say,"Was not God's land vast enough for you to go wherever you could live in peace?"
The dwelling of these people will be hell fire, a terrible destination.

An-Nisa'   4:97

Be the change you wish to see in the world... let's live peacefully.

Trend and Sunnah...

I am no scholar in religion.. in fact, one who is still so new and searching. All this while, simply reading and taking what my brain tells as good, therefore adapt.. but once I start to listen to sermons, talks by the different Ustaz, learned people of the religion.. it is something so scary to know how easily one can slip, simply by thinking what is good to be correct.

The best, is still to always refer to Quran in no matter what. Attend classes from different speakers, and most of all.. dua, ask Allah and only Allah for guidance and never to be set astray.

Surely We have sent down to you the Book with the Truth; so worship Allah, making the religion faithfully His. (Az-Zumar 39:2)

A new word I was introduced to... "Thagut". May we be spared.
Allah is The Ever-Patronizing Patron of (the ones) who have believed. He brings them out of the darknesses into the light. And for (the ones) who have disbelieved, their constant patrons are the Taghut (i.e. false gods, idols, devils and seducers) who bring them out of the light into the darknesses; those are the companions of the Fire; they are therein eternally (abiding). - Al-Baqarah 2:257

And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah)." Then of them were some whom Allah guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth).
 - An-Nahl 16:36

Salam Maal Hijrah...

stepping into a new year - Hijriah 1434... with a renewed 'paradigm shift', aiming for excellence.

"Wa nafsiw wa maa sawwaahaa; Fa alhamahaa fujuurahaa wa taqwaahaa; Qad aflaha man zakkaahaa; Wa qad khaaba man dassaahaa."

“Dan jiwa serta penyempurnaannya, maka Allah mengilhamkan kepada jiwa itu jalan kefasikan dan ketaqwaan, sesungguhnya beruntunglah orang yang menyucikan jiwa itu dan sesungguhnya rugilah orang-orang yang mengotorkannya.” Surah Asy-Syams ayat 7 hingga 10

Anjakan paradigma terhadap Penghijrahan Minda dan Tasawur, memperbaiki diri serta membebaskan diri dari dijajah.
and of course, a welcome back to blogging for me...  I started a new page; her Photography; where I am uploading my collection of photos I photographed. One photo a day, and I probably will have to back date many. Enjoy...
